Why "Red Jay"?​

My son Carlos named it. He said: "There's no such thing as a red jay. Just like you."

I'm not the typical counselor. I'm the one who sees you at the age your trauma happened. I'm the one who plays worship music in my office without apology. I'm the one who speaks life over you when the world has spoken death.

About Me​

  • Missionary since age 14 in the Rio Grande Valley
  • Ministry to gang-affiliated youth and teen parents

I've walked students from 10 generations of poverty to Stanford and Goldman Sachs. I've intervened in suicide crises. I've sat with the dying and helped them find peace. I've seen demons leave and healing arrive.

My Philosophy​

"I'm not gonna not be myself wherever I go."

I believe counseling is the first leg of a relay race. My job is to make your heart fertile so when God moves you to the next season, you're ready. Some I walk with for a day. Some for years. But every appointment is a divine appointment.

This isn't about becoming "functional." It's about becoming who God made you to be.
