Whitestone Church Update Email

Date: December 11, 2025 To: Dr. Kevin Hull, Doug Jones Re: Update on educational initiatives and where I'm at

Draft Email

Hey Kevin,

Saw your email to Lisa, so just wanted to give you a quick update since my views and circumstances have shifted from earlier this year.

What Changed

When we first talked about educational initiatives, my (former) consulting client Joe Liemandt was potentially willing to fund a faith-based school. Since then, he's pivoted to focus on sports-based microschools. I'm no longer confident that route would be the right fit for what we discussed.

That said, I still believe there's a real opportunity in turning churches into microschools. But it would look more like starting a company together with Whitestone as the first pilot campus, rather than plugging into an existing secular system like Joe's Alpha Schools.

Where I'm At Now

My 2026 focus areas:

  1. Applied AI Society - Building a community of engineers who help businesses implement AI, while also being one of those engineers consulting businessees.

  2. Christian Parent AI Curriculum - Developing resources to help Christian parents (and church leaders) understand how to guide their children in an AI-transformed world. This feels urgent and underserved.

  3. Miracles & Ministry - Supporting a pastor in Liberty, TX who operates powerfully in miracles. In my best assessment he is akin to a next Kenneth Hagin. Knowing Tauren has spoken publicly about believing in miracles, I wondered if there might ever be interest in a guest breakthrough/healing service at Whitestone.

  4. Building Christian Benefactor Network - Actively connecting with people who could fund faith-aligned initiatives down the road.

On Schools

If Whitestone is seriously exploring educational initiatives in 2026, my current thinking is:

  • Start a company together, not plug into a secular system
  • Whitestone as the first pilot campus
  • Churches as microschools, leveraging existing facilities and community trust
  • Would need the right funding and timing

This is a longer-term play. I don't know if it makes sense to push in 2026, just wanted to be transparent about how my thinking has evolved.

Bottom Line

I don't want to waste your, Doug's, and Tauren's time given how busy Whitestone is. But if any of this resonates, I'd be open to an initial call with you and Doug to talk through timelines and ideas. Happy to let it simmer on my end as I continue building things out.

Let me know what you think.
