We can dedicate our energies in a way that systematically makes all boats in the Travis ecosystem rise, creating value for the entire network.

Process

In the process of solving a single big problem, we will identify technology solutions that can help us solve that problem.

If we find that a technological solution helps another person use that technology to solve that problem for them, then we can choose to invest in commercializing the solution into a product, as well as open sourcing components of it for the public benefit.

Principle

The principle is “Solve your own problem first” - Travis's challenges as an ecosystem patriarch are unlikely to be unique to him, and thus reveal broader business opportunities.

Our collaboration draws from Travis's worldview that open source, when done with love and faith, optimally benefits builders and the world. Capturing more of this philosophy will guide creation of open frameworks for supercharging team collective agency and ecosystem impact.
