Message to Ida - Prenda Call Update

Ida! Just got off a call with Prenda (microschool platform) and it was pretty inspiring.

Key things that stood out:

• Church-based microschools are exploding in Florida right now - churches using their facilities during the week for education
• Texas is about to follow the same pattern with TIFA scholarships (~$10K per student)
• The Prenda reps said "as soon as Texas opened, the first thing we said was these churches have a huge opportunity"
• They're traveling to Texas in February and most of their current contacts are church owners

What's wild is they immediately recognized the vision without me having to explain much. One of them (Brittany) is a Christian mom with multiple kids, and she used to work with Texas churches on finding income streams. She said this is going to be a big path for churches and their youth programs.

This doesn't change anything about supporting your charter vision - different models serve different needs. But it confirms we're not crazy for thinking Christian education is about to have a major moment.
