Hi Jon,
Great to connect, and thanks for offering to help. Stef is right; your "Why Alpha" talk would be a powerful contribution.
Event: "Alphas Activate"
- Date/Time: Saturday, June 14, 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM (followed by networking)
- Location: Alpha School Austin
- Audience: ~100+ influential leaders – founders, political figures, journalists, community leaders (primarily Austin-based, some with national/international reach like connections to education in China, S. Korea, Japan), and current Alpha parents inviting influential family friends. The unifying theme is their role as "force multipliers" in their ecosystems.
- Format: An invite-only summit showcasing Alpha's vision, featuring an assessment by MacKenzie Price, student/team showcases, and tech demos, designed to be an immersive experience. (More details in the internal brief:

My Role & Event Aims: I'm producing this event, building on a successful one in April, as a template for mobilizing local influencers to champion the future of education and support Alpha's mission.
The core Call to Action (CTA) is for attendees to become "Alpha Activators." Through "Commitment Cards," they might pledge to:
- Explore enrolling their children in Alpha.
- Advance school choice (if political leaders).
- Spread the word via publications (if journalists).
- Explore international school partnerships.
The ultimate aim is for attendees to leave significantly more committed to dedicating their time, talent, and resources to Alpha's educational renaissance.
What I Need for Success (and from you): To achieve the event's aims, your "Why Alpha" talk is pivotal. It will help articulate our unique value and inspire these leaders to action. The linked brief provides more granular detail on our strategic objectives.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Best,
