Dear Matteo Calisi,​

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. My name is Gary Sheng, and our mutual friend LaDonna Taylor suggested I reach out to you during my upcoming visit to Italy.

I will be attending an AI conference at Vatican City hosted by my friend Matthew Sanders, who leads Magisterium AI. The conference is scheduled for November 4-5, 2025, though I have flexibility to arrive earlier or stay later if it would allow us to meet.

Music was the catalyst that triggered my exploration of Christianity 4.5 years ago. I was a lifelong atheist working as a software engineer at Google when I stumbled upon videos of gospel music that seemed too beautiful to be anything but divinely orchestrated. This began my journey toward Christ.

More recently, witnessing and experiencing miraculous healings has solidified my confidence that the way of Christ is the true path. Just last month, I received both baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire, and then healing for my eyesight through Apostle Delmar Coward Jr. in Liberty, Texas, where I also met LaDonna later. These supernatural encounters have transformed my faith from intellectual curiosity to lived experience.

What brings me particular joy is learning about bridge-builders like yourself and LaDonna who work across Catholic and Pentecostal divides. Your work with United in Christ and the Charismatic Catholic Community of Jesus represents exactly the kind of unity our Lord prayed for in John 17.

Having served three Popes over 40 years while maintaining dialogue with Evangelicals, Pentecostals, Orthodox, and Messianic Jews, your perspective on Christian unity would be invaluable to someone like me who is still early in their faith journey but deeply committed to truth-centered revival.

My Current Mission​

I am dedicating myself to:

  • Helping people understand the truth of Christ through both rational evidence and supernatural encounter
  • Supporting a truth-centered, Holy Spirit-filled revival around the world
  • Building bridges between technology and faith communities
  • Documenting testimonies of God's miraculous work in our generation

I would be deeply honored to meet you in person while in Italy. If an in-person meeting isn't possible, even a phone conversation would be a blessing. I'm particularly interested in:

  • Your insights on unity across Christian traditions
  • The role of miraculous signs in evangelization
  • How technology might serve the mission of reconciliation
  • Your experience bridging institutional and charismatic expressions of faith
