Role Clarification

  • Have been working closely with Arthur on defining a "Special Projects Lead" role
  • Focus: driving MQLs/SQLs through high-level partnerships for Two Hour Learning and school expansion
  • Will coordinate closely with colleagues like Arthur, Garrett, and Dave on cohesive marketing and business development strategy and execution

Jewish Day Schools Opportunity (NYC)

  • ~1M kids whose education is in jeopardy due to compliance issues
  • We met Mayor Adams, Van Jones, and other power players in NYC yesterday who care about / have influence over education
  • Schools exploring Two Hour Learning as viable solution to regain accreditation and maintain operations
  • Working closely with Dave to advance this opportunity
  • Will keep you updated as this progresses

Eastern Europe Expansion Opportunity (Romania)

  • Met with Sacha Dragic from Superbet (pays over $300M in taxes annually)
  • Sacha will introduce me to the Prime Minister of Romania during my trip June 22-27
  • I'm keynoting at Techsylvania - significant opportunity for Two Hour Learning expansion to Eastern Europe
  • Sacha spends millions in the education sector
  • Working closely with Dave on developing this opportunity

June Event Update

  • We chatted with Jon Stewart; On Friday, Jon—after giving us insight on how long it takes to put together an event like the Stanford event—wanted us to postpone the event which was fine with us; All partners and RSVPers were informed of the postponement that day.
  • He "thought it wasn’t great timing to do an austin parent event two weeks into summer and on the heels of several Alpha events over previous weeks (TEDx, graduation, Stanford Dean, etc.)"
  • We will collaborate closely with Jon and expansion team for all things events moving forward
