Texas State Campus (San Marcos): "My last area for my missionary service was a YSA. I was on Texas State campus in San Marcos. I was kind of more a part of that... We have activities that go on throughout the week. There's family home evening, which is like we just have a big activity every Monday night. There's institute classes. That's like scripture study more every week too. YSAs are really good at events. Yes, we have lots of events."

Daily Spiritual Practice​

On Personal Struggles: "There's just days where I focus more on myself and look at my Savior. And I let that kind of drag me away from the focus that I should be having. To where I maybe don't say my prayers as much as I should or express my scriptures as well. And I just see that those days are not good. That I physically feel worse, honestly, sometimes. And I'm just not happy to be here... I focus on myself more than Christ."

On Book of Mormon as Answer: "My favorite thing about the background of it is Joseph Smith, he really just had that question, what is the true church and why, what he needed to do in his life and where he needed to go and the Lord gave him an answer that none of them were true and that the Book of Mormon had all those answers and had the things that he needed in his life. And that's what I've seen a lot in my life with the Book of Mormon as I've continued to read it. It's brought me a lot of clarity and a lot of, it's really brought me closer to my Savior as well."
