Relationship Files
This directory contains detailed profiles of people in Gary's network. These files serve as a comprehensive CRM system, tracking personal backgrounds, professional activities, interaction history, and potential collaboration opportunities.
Archived relationship files (inactive or less relevant contacts) are stored in the /archive subdirectory.
File Naming Convention
Relationship files should be named using the following pattern:
[first-name]-[last-name].md
For example:
melissa-turner.mddavid-kobrosky.mdkamal-ravikant.md
For families or groups, use:
bruce-family.mdvudumu-family.md
Ideal Relationship File Template
Important: The frontmatter section (the YAML block between the triple dashes
---) is critical for data processing and must always include the following fields with current, accurate information:
title(Full Name)date_added(Date this file was created)relationship_type(One or more standardized categories—see below)current_location(Geographic location, e.g. City, State/Country)last_interaction_date(Most recent contact or update)aliases(Array of nicknames, handles, or alternative names—can be empty)relevant_to(Array of project IDs this person is relevant to—can be empty)
Every relationship file MUST include all these fields in its frontmatter.
Available project IDs for relevant_to:
