Reminder that Christ is STILL the Head of the Church

The ultimate fellowship program for us already exists. Our job is to receive His orders and obey.

December 26, 2025

I was talking to Tim today about the Christofuture Foundation vision (and the Fellowship or grants program I have in mind).

We got into this conversation about denominations and why I keep meeting Mormons, Catholics, Protestants, Charismatics, Cessationists—all these different flavors of Christianity through my work.

Tim said something that landed: "Christofuturism is blind to denominations."

That's when it clicked for me. God has already created the ultimate fellowship. Christ is the head of the Church. Not the Pope. Not the president or high council of the Mormon Church. Not any denominational leader. Christ.

And He's still running the show. Right now. In real time.

Think about it like this: God is the ultimate fellowship director. He's been seeding people, testing them, introducing them to each other at exactly the right moments. When you prove faithful with a little, He gives you more. When you're ready to meet someone, He orchestrates the meeting.

It's like downloading a video on your phone—the connection starts slow (1 bit, 2 bits, 4 bits...) and builds as trust gets established. God doesn't dump everything on us at once because we couldn't handle it. He sequences. He reveals progressively.

Here's what I realized: we don't need to create some new command structure for the body of Christ. The command structure already exists. Christ is the general. The Holy Spirit is the communication channel He left us. Our job is to receive instructions and obey.

This is what Christians call "prophetic perfect tense"—the work is already done. "By his stripes, I was healed." Past tense. Already accomplished. The victory is won. We're not fighting for victory; we're fighting from victory.

So what do we actually have to do?

Be obedient.

That's it. Stay obedient. Listen. Receive. Act on what we're given.

I've been trying to figure out what kind of organization to build, what structure to create, what denomination to align with. But God keeps putting different denominations in my path for a reason. He's showing me that the real division isn't between Catholics and Protestants or Charismatics and Cessationists. The real division is between those who are obedient to Christ and those who aren't.

Tim said he'd take a bullet for me. I'd do the same for him. That kind of spiritual brotherhood isn't built on shared denominational doctrine. It's built on shared obedience to the same Commander.

Christ is the head of the Church. He's the best possible general we could have. He sees everything. He knows everything. He's already won.

All we have to do is receive our orders and execute.

"And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent." — Colossians 1:18
