Welcome back to The Daily Spirit. Friday, December 5th. Five minutes of spirit-filled encouragement to start your day.
Opening Hook
When's the last time you reached out to someone you hadn't talked to in a while? Not because you needed something. Just to reconnect. To see what they're up to.
You have people in your life right now that you've lost touch with. And you don't know what's on the other side of that text. That call. That coffee.
I had coffee with my friend Dawson yesterday. He helps grow some of the world's leading podcasts. We met earlier this year, stayed in touch. Recently I reached out to see if he'd let me help him apply AI to his work.
He said yes. We brainstormed. Ideas on title generation, thumbnails. It's been fun.
Yesterday we met again. He got excited about helping grow this very thing you're listening to. I'm not rushing into more than I can handle. But I'm grateful for his support.
And it hit me: you just never know what God's up to.
Scripture & Core Message
Proverbs 27:17: "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend."
You have relationships in your life right now that God put there for a reason.
Some of them might feel casual. Maybe you haven't talked in a while. But you don't know what's on the other side of that reconnection. A new partnership. A job opportunity. An investor. A collaborator. A breakthrough.
Exhortation
Here's my encouragement to you today:
Cherish your kingdom connections. Reach out to someone you've been meaning to catch up with. Tell them what you're working on. Tell them what you're struggling with.
You never know if they're the person God's been preparing to help you get to the next level.
That relationship sitting in your contacts? It might be more strategic than you realize. Not in a manipulative way. In a divine orchestration way. God connects people on purpose.
So reach out. Be generous with your time. Be open about your journey. Watch what happens.
Affirmations
Let's speak some truth over your relationships. I'll say it, you repeat.

God places the right people in my life at the right time.
My relationships are blessed and purposeful.
I am open to divine connections.
I reach out with generosity and faith.
