Gary's Command Center

"THE YEAR 33" — Gary's Jesus Year (2026)

This folder is the prompt engineering system for Gary's daily life. It removes ambiguity, eliminates free-balling, and ensures every day is algorithmically planned based on strategic context across all projects.

How This System Works​

  1. Morning (or day before): AI reads all strategy files + principles → generates daily/YYYY-MM-DD.md
  2. Tim reviews the proposed plan
  3. Gary executes the plan (possibly with adjustments)
  4. End of day: Progress logged to daily file + relevant project progress files
  5. Repeat

For AI Assistants​

When generating a daily plan for Gary, you MUST:

  1. Read principles.md for core decision rules
  2. Read all projects/*/strategy.md files for current goals and tactics
  3. Check recent projects/*/progress.md entries for context on what's been done
  4. Generate a daily plan that balances all projects according to principles
  5. Include specific, actionable tasks with clear completion criteria

The daily plan should include:

  • Date and day of week
  • Top 3 priorities (across all projects)
  • Project-specific tasks
  • Accountability questions for Tim to ask
  • End-of-day reflection prompts

For Tim Dort-Golts​

Your role is accountability partner. Each day:

  1. Do a git pull on this repo for any new context
  2. Review the AI-generated plan in daily/ (in morning or evening before)
  3. Ensure it aligns with principles and strategies
  4. Check in with Gary on progress
  5. Help log progress at end of day
  6. Flag if Gary is drifting from priorities

Weekly review questions are in each project's strategy file.
